B2B Echo Chamber Report

Report reveals UK professional services drowning in generic messaging.

Over a third (38%) of companies rely on the words ‘business’, ‘services’, or ‘legal’ in their website headlines.

New research from Soba: Private Label shows UK professional services firms are relying on cookie-cutter messaging, making it almost impossible for clients to tell them apart.

Soba’s B2B Echo Chamber Report analysed the website headlines of 1,007 professional services firms and found that over a third (38%) of companies rely on the words “business”, “legal” or “services” in their homepage headlines. These words are often combined into catch-alls like “business solutions” or “management services.”

The report also highlighted that more than half (55%) of professional services companies don’t address the reader in their top-line messaging.
